Admission requirements
The course requires at least a Bachelor's degree (or a comparable degree from a university) in a subject-related degree course, e.g. religious education, social work, childhood education, theology, educational science, political science or psychology. Foreign language skills in English are a condition for participation. Selection interviews are scheduled. In the case of a degree with 180 CP, 30 CP must be made up in bridge modules as part of a four-semester degree course. This is necessary because of the state requirement of at least 300 CP for the Master's degree.

Applications are possible until 28 January of the year for the summer semester in the current year – every two years (2024, 2026, etc.). In the event that not all places are taken in the summer semester of 2024, application for the winter semester of 2024 for the part-time variant (five semesters) will be possible (portal will open in April 2024). Tuition fee
The tuition fee of EUR 500 per semester is charged for the first 3 semesters, for the 4th to 6th semester, if applicable, no tuition fee is charged\; for all further semesters, the fee is mandatory (EUR 500). The administrative costs (EUR 60) as well as the contributions to the Studierendenwerk including the basic contribution for the semester ticket (EUR 68.50) have to be paid in all semesters.
