Annotation
In Cultural Studies, structures and characteristics of modern societies are researched across disciplines. The special characteristic of the course is the practical application of empirically oriented cultural research. In addition to the integrated training in two foreign languages and the obligatory stay abroad (for a degree course and / or Internship), cooperation with Economics and Law is an important part of the course. Prospective students who want to acquire intercultural skills and an interdisciplinary focus for a subsequent Master's degree are a target group of the course. In addition, it is also aimed at students who want to start a career in a consultancy role in politics and business in Germany or abroad or who are pursuing the goal of working in marketing, at NGOs or in tourism. Cultural studies know-how is also increasingly in demand in a wide range of administrative areas (e.g. ministries).
