The distance learning Master’s course “Business Administration” is aimed at graduates of engineering or non-commercial degree courses and other university graduates (including business school graduates) with at least one year of professional experience in companies or organisations after completing their initial university education and now hold or intend to hold a management position.
Annotation
In cooperation with JenALL e.V., the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena offers a master's degree course for engineers and other academics (including business economists) with one year of professional experience as an accredited (AQAS) continuing education course. In this Master's degree course, you will be taught management and decision-making skills to work towards a corresponding managerial position or to advance further in this position.

Admission requirements
Admission to the course of study is subject to possession of a degree in a diploma or bachelor's course degree at a university , or a degree recognised as at least equivalent with at least 210 ECTS point, as well as at least one year of professional practice in companies or organisations following completion of higher education. The primary professional experience is usually directed towards non-commercial, especially technical areas, but should also include initial experience in management tasks, e.g. project management. Proof of knowledge of the English language must also be provided (e.g. with a TOEFL test with 72 points). For foreign applicants, proof of sufficient knowledge of the German language is also required. If the number of applicants exceeds the planned number of admissions, applicants will be admitted on the basis of the final grade of their initial university education.
