Target group
Profile of the degree program The course offers a balanced mix of basics, research-related and school-related content. In the basic course, common basic events with Bachelor students, making it easy to change subject. Special courses for teaching students (advanced internship, excursions, subject didactics) in the main course. Scientific profile The Department of Biology at the University of Tübingen is one of the most research-intensive biological departments in Germany. Main research specialisations include Evolution and Ecology, Neurobiology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology of Plants as well as Molecular Cell Biology and Immunology. The profile is rounded off by the interfaculty specialisation "Ethics in the Life Sciences". Close cooperation with the state seminars for didactics and teacher training as well as with the grammar schools in the area.
