Admission requirements

(1) Prerequisite for the course is a) the completion of a diploma or Bachelor's degree program in Medical Informatics at a university of applied sciences or a university or the completion of a corresponding accredited bachelor's program at a vocational university with an overall grade of at least 'good' (2.5), or b) the completion of a degree program relevant to the Bachelor's program in Medical Informatics at a university of applied sciences or university or the completion of a corresponding accredited Bachelor's program at a vocational university with an overall grade of at least '(2.5). (2) The relevance of the course of studies according to paragraph 1 (b) is determined by the Medical Informatics Committee appointed by the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Computer Science on the basis of the cooperation agreement with the University of Duisburg-Essen.
