- Evidence of completed vocational training as a state-recognised childcare worker, an equivalent first vocational qualification from the areas of education, pedagogy and social education (e.g. therapeutic educator, Diplom-qualified social educator, primary school educator) and - evidence of at least 12 months' professional experience in this field, general higher education entrance qualification (Allgemeine Hochschulreife) or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or general certificate of secondary education (at least intermediate secondary school level) and qualified completion of at least 3 years of recognised vocational training, with an average/overall or final grade of 2.5 or better (if these grades are not shown, the arithmetic mean of the individual subject grades applies)
