Whether a backyard match or the Champions League: football captivates people across all international borders. The easy access to the game – one ball, two goals – makes people around the globe dream of becoming a professionalplayer. But when it comes to coaching teams, the full complexity of football, a world power, reveals itself. In highly competitive sports on a media stage, a lot of self-confidence, perseverance and understanding of the media are required in addition to football skills and charisma. In today’s world, the demands on the professionaltraining of coaches have risen far into the academic realm. In addition to head coaches, professional clubs employ entire coachingstaff, who combine skills from the fields of sports science, management, psychology and many more. In short: the successful training of football teams is a highly complex process requiring up-to-date, interdisciplinary and sound training. Content: - In six semesters you will be fit for a job as a football coachin - Focus on competitive sports: work for top clubs, associations and base camps - Training Science, Psychology, Management and other disciplines combined in one study programme - Systemic focus: train and strengthen teams and individuals based on their needs - Course-integrated coachingexperience at the Berlin Football Association (BFV), 1. FC Union Berlin, FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin and Eintracht Braunschweig - Admission-free, without admission restrictions (may be subject to a registration or selection procedure)
Admission requirements
- Qualification for university studies under Section 10 Berlin Higher Education Act (general entrance qualification for higher education, subject-restricted entrance qualification for higher education, entrance qualification for higher education at universities of applied sciences or comparable qualification certificate) or - Higher education admission for professionally qualified persons according to Section 11 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (BerlHG) - Evidence of a clear sports connection by way of one of the following criteria: (a) Evidence of a successfully passed sports aptitude test (state or BSP), or b) Evidence of completion of the school subject Sports in an upper secondary school advanced programme, or c) Evidence of current or past team membership in competitive sports, ideally in football.

Tuition fees
One-time enrolment fee of 100 euros. There are numerous student funding possibilities, such as BAföG (state financial support), KfW (Development Loan Corporation) student loan (independent of parents and subject, without collateral), scholarships for gifted students, student loan from banks, student education funds and other scholarships.
