Admission requirements

The degree programme requires a Bachelor's academic degree or a comparable academic degree with at least 72 credit points in German Studies or General and Comparative Linguistics. If less than 72 but at least 40 points are available, the missing credits can be made up in the first year of study.

The application should be submitted six to eight weeks before the respective application deadline, as the certificate of recognition must be attached to the application. Application deadline for degree courses subject to an aptitude test is 15.01. – please note the possibly earlier registration deadlines for the aptitude test.
