Admission requirements

Applications for the following summer semester must be submitted to the faculty by 1 December (cut-off period). Aptitude for the Master's degree course has to be determined on the basis of the score-based procedure outlined in the annex of the examination regulations on the basis of the following criteria (first stage of the aptitude assessment procedure): \t- University or equivalent degree pursuant to Section 4(1) sentence 1 no. 1 Examination Regulations with a final grade of at least 'satisfactory' (3.0). \t- Basic subject-specific competences\; proven by successful completion of at least 4 ECTS credits per area in the areas of cost accounting, accounting, balance-sheet accounting, financing, investment accounting, strategic management, production management / service provision and fundamentals of information technology. \t- \tKnowledge of methodology\; proven by successfully completed achievements of at least 4 ECTS points per area in the fields of mathematics for economists and statistics. \t- Subject-specific practical knowledge: proven by professional experience through participation or executive function in a company in the field of accounting/balance-sheet accounting, cost accounting, planning/control and controlling.
