Most of the fields of study, in particular the classical subjects such as physics or mathematics, are only offered at universities. Some fields of study, especially interdisciplinary degree programmes in nutritional or environmental sciences, are taught at universities of applied sciences. A subject-specific higher education entrance qualification is sufficient for these subjects. Some fields of study may have additional requirements such as minimum grade averages.
