Admission requirements
For admission to the Master's correspondence course in Psychology (M.Sc.), a basic Bachelor's degree in Psychology (B.Sc./180 CP) is required. The Bachelor's programme must be relevant to the subject and be based on the specifications of the professional associations Berufsverband Deutscher Psychologinnen und Psychologen e.V. and the German Society for Psychology. The following contents should be covered: Psychological Diagnostics (12 CP) Statistics (6 CP) Research Methodology (6 CP) Graduates whose first degree in psychology does not cover the above-mentioned requirements can be admitted via a pre-semester. This comprises a standard duration of one semester and contains the required modules Psychological Diagnostics (12 CP), Statistics (6 CP), Research Methodology (6 CP). The standard duration can also be extended in individual cases, depending on individual professional or private stress.
