Target group
According to the Rhineland-Palatinate Higher Education Act (Section 35 (1) HochSchG), the Master's programme 'Management of Financial Institutions' at Koblenz University in cooperation with the University of Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe is open to applicants who successfully completed a university degree or acquired the necessary aptitude for the profession in another manner. For the advanced training course, this means that the applicant, upon having met the admission requirements under Section 65 HochSchG, must have at least three years of relevant practical experience and must have passed an aptitude examination of Koblenz University on the basis of which professional experience is determined to be equivalent to a completed undergraduate university course.

Admission requirements
To verify special admission requirements for applicants with professional qualifications, the application for admission must be accompanied by the following pieces of evidence, among others: - Evidence of three years of relevant professional experience involving specialist and managerial tasks that is sufficiently related to the content of the degree course and through which the applicant has acquired the necessary knowledge and skills. - A letter of motivation regarding the choice of course (at least two DIN A4 pages). - Evidence of previous continuing education activities. - The ability to study and the particular aptitude of the applicant must be proved by way of a written selection examination or project work on a business administration topic and a presentation of the project work and/or oral examination on financial topics.
