Annotation
The consecutive Master's degree course in Social Work at the MSB Medical School Berlin aims to teach advanced subject-specific skills to graduates of a Bachelor's degree course in Social Work, Social Education or a comparable degree. In addition to a sound basic education and training in methods, the Master's degree course presents the most important application fields of of social work into the centre of teaching: working with addiction disorders, child endangerment, in rehabilitation and health promotion, as well as working with people with mental illness. In the combination of specialisations, there is a special opportunity for both students and for the current and future labour market.
Admission requirements
The course at the MSB Medical School Berlin is not subject to admission restrictions. Performance, talent, motivation and discipline count more than the grade point average on the certificate. For admission to the Master's degree course in Social Work, you are required to meet the following entrance and admission requirements: - Entitlement to study in Master's degree courses in accordance with Art. 10 BerlHG - first certificate of academic degree (Diplom, Bachelor) in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Therapeutic Education, Transdisciplinary Early Intervention or a comparable degree course.
