Target group
The Master's course in Auditing is directed at young professionals from the area of Auditing who are aiming for further education in Economics in the area of tax advisory and auditing skills as well as targeted preparation for the Auditing examination.
Annotation
The programme is aimed at professionals in the field of auditing and is offered in cooperation with major accounting firms. The classroom teaching takes place from May to October, which enables students to work in the 'busy Season'. A revision course integrated with the study programme helps with preparing specifically for the auditing examination after completing the studies. The examination results in the subject areas of Economic Law and Business Administration/Economics, which are completed as part of the course of study, can be credited against the auditing examination on request in accordance with Section 8a WPO (Act on the Code of Professional Practice for German Public Auditors).
Admission requirements
– A first professionally-qualifying vocational qualification – At least 6 months of professional experience in Auditing, of which at least 3 months in auditing activities (before commencing studies) – Successfully completed Leuphana admissions test – Completed degree course: Registration only possible via a member of the Chamber of Public Accountants in Germany
