In the specialisation Slavic Linguistics, you will examine, among other things, a section of grammar, a topic of pragmatics and text linguistics and a diachronic phenomenon. In addition to this, there will be further modules in both specialisations on different topics as well as a free module, which can be chosen from other disciplines (e.g. International Literatures, General Linguistics, History, Media Studies or Political Science). The specialisation German-Polish Transcultural Studies comprises courses on linguistics, Polish literature and cultural studies, cross-cultural communication, translation studies and practice as well as literary criticism, with the courses of the third semester being taken during the compulsory semester in Warsaw.
