The Master´s degree programme in Book Science / Research is offered as a consecutive, research-oriented course that requires a academic degree in Book Science or a closely related BA degree course.

Annotation

If the Bachelor degree certificate is not available by the application deadline, but at least 135 credit points can be demonstrated: Submit a certificate of study and examinations and the average grade achieved so far. (This certificate must be issued by the relevant higher education institution, original or officially authenticated copy). After enrolment, the diploma must be submitted. If the degree was obtained abroad: officially authenticated copy of a certificate of recognition (responsible: Student Service - Admission International).

1. Proof of a completed Bachelor's degree in the subject of Bibliology with a grade of at least good (=2.5) or an equivalent degree at a German or international university. 2. A pre-condition is that students have sufficient active and passive command of English to enable them to read specialist literature in English and to participate in lectures conducted in English. 3. Foreign applicants from non-German-speaking countries must prove command of German at the level of the 'German language test for admission of foreign applicants to studies at institutions of higher education (DSH)'. 4. A further requirement for admission to the Master's course in 'Bibliology' is that the applicant still has the examination entitlement for this degree course.
