Target group
Diplom psychologists wishing to gain the qualification to take the state examination as a psychological psychotherapist, specialising in deep psychological psychotherapy and analytical psychotherapy. A further aim of the course of study is to offer specialist doctors theoretical further training in psychotherapy.
Annotation
The training can be taken up at the beginning of each semester.
Admission requirements
1) For applicants to have the academic background required, he or she must a.) have completed a degree in Psychology (which includes the subject Clinical Psychology) with a Diplom degree course examination at a university or an equivalent institution of higher education in Germany, b.) be able to provide proof of having gained an equivalent Diplom degree in Psychology in an European Union member state or another signatory state of the European Economic Area agreement, or c.) be able to provide proof successful completion of an equivalent university degree in Psychology in another state The applicant demonstrates his or her personal aptitude in two interviews with his or her chosen teaching therapists at the institution giving the training. The entrance interviews are not public.
