Admission requirements
Academic degree from a 6-semester Bachelor's degree course in Psychology or Business Psychology at the Ruhr University in Bochum or an academic degree from a 6-semester Bachelor's degree course at a university within the jurisdiction of the German Basic Law in the subject of Psychology or in a related subject. Interested parties with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or in a related subject from a 6-semester or 3-year course at a university outside the jurisdiction of the German Basic Law can be admitted to the Master’s degree course with the endorsement of the Examination Board. For admission, academic achievements must be submitted for the areas of “General and Biological Psychology”, “Intra- and Inter-Personal Processes” and “Methodology”, each amounting to 20 credit points. For admission to the Master’s degree programme in Clinical Psychology, achievement certificates must be submitted for “Clinical Psychology/Pathopsychology” and “Psychotherapy”, each amounting to 6 credit points.
