The European Master in Sign Language Interpreting (EUMASLI) is an innovative European master's degree for sign language interpreting, which was developed as part of an EU Erasmus grant by the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, Humak University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki/Kuopio, Finland) and Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh, United Kingdom). EUMASLI is a part-time continuing education course with attendance phases at the participating universities as well as self-study phases.
Admission requirements
Proof of an initial, internationally recognised academic degree (the diploma of the two-year Scottish course in sign language interpretation is also recognised), at least three years of professional practice as a sign-language interpreter, very good command of English and successful submission to the admission procedures.
