The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree courses in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements

A subject related requirement is proof of a subject-specific Bachelor's degree (at least six semesters or 180 ECTS) or an equivalent certificate of academic degree. International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
