Target group
The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree courses in the field of Biology or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements
The prerequisite is a degree in biology or biotechnology with at least 10 credits in microbiology. Furthermore, practical training in research methods is required. Evidence of work in microbiological disciplines is also desirable. The final grade should be at least 2.3 or better. Adequate command of English is essential for the course. It will be taught in English.
