The course is aimed at graduates with a first professional degree in Degree courses in the fields of History, Political Science, Social Science or one that is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in the amount of 180 credits and subject-related study at a university or equivalent higher education institution in Germany or abroad.

Admission requirements
The subject related requirement is proof of academic achievements in the field of history, political science or sociology amounting to at least 60 credit points and a final grade of at least 'good' or better. Furthermore, English language skills at level B2 are required. International applicants are required to provide proof of command of German at the level of a DSH test (stage 2), a TestDaF (TDN 4) or a recognised equivalent.
