Annotation
The Master Design is divided into 4 main areas: The focus on artistic conception combines the tasks and solutions of design with the open experiment of the visual arts. The means of expression depend on the projects and include painting and drawing, working with media such as computers, film, photography and installation. The major in Fashion Design focuses on deepening individual focuses. Conceptual development process, flexible thinking and unconventional solutions are promoted in the form of independent project work. Through the experimental approach, show pieces become an idea generator for communication and staging that works through storytelling. Through the process of reduction, they enable the development of clearly marketable products, which are defined by innovative, extreme details. The study with a focus on textile design or material & surface design means the further development of collection concepts in the field of fabrics as well as textile design and collection design in the laboratory. It is about the textile, colour and material design for architecture, fashion and transportation. The Master's degree deepens knowledge in the areas of design, visualisation or colour & trim and material conception in the Transportation Interior and prepares future graduates for their later work in industry through a special practical relevance.
