Annotation
The degree programme provides a methodical introduction to economics. In its complex orientation, it deals with problems of management in the company, with the interaction between households, companies and the state, with the functioning of markets and with macroeconomic developments. It teaches how to structure decision-making problems in various areas of the company and how to develop and apply scientifically-based problem solutions. Students develop a comprehensive scientific toolkit for the understanding of business and economic processes and relationships. The particular aim of the degree course is to combine specialist expertise with multilingualism and an international dimension. A specialist internship/work placement of several months or a semester abroad at a partner university is recommended. This course is taught exclusively in English. The curriculum includes learning another foreign language. The faculty has diverse international teaching experience and the student body is international.
