Students acquire a solid grounding in Psychology as well as basic specialist knowledge in the applied disciplines of psychology in order to acquire general and subject-specific professional skills on the one hand and to be able to complete a further professional academic degree in the form of a Master's degree on the other. Sound theories are linked to psychological application problems and developments in practice, so that students are taught both scientific qualifications and professional skills.
