Admission requirements

The requirement for admission to the Bachelor´s degree course in Singing is proof of the higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) in accordance with Art. 54 Para. 2 of the Hessian Higher Education Act of 14.12.2009 in the version of 21 December 2010. A missing higher education entrance qualification can be replaced by an outstanding artistic talent (at least 19 out of a possible 25 points in the aptitude test) according to Art. 54 Abs. 4 Satz 3 HHG. Proof of oral and written German language proficiency (for non-native speakers B1) is required for admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Singing, and an ENT certificate is also required. Admission to the Bachelor's degree course in Singing requires the successful completion of an aptitude test. ENT certificate The ENT certificate must be issued by a specialist in phoniatrics and must demonstrate vocal physiological suitability for studying Singing.
