Annotation
What does the future of employment look like? And what qualifications are necessary to meet the future requirements of the worlds of life and work? Teachers for work theory at primary, secondary and comprehensive schools have the challenging task of preparing students for their role as consumers and producers in a world characterised by work. In their degree course, students deal with work as an elementary component of human existence. They deal with current developments in the fields of economics, technology, socio-ecology and work science in an interdisciplinary way based on the perspective of sustainability. Theory and practice are interconnected in the degree course and thus create the requirement for implementing goal-oriented work science teaching in the later teaching profession.
