Explore the function of religion in society based on texts, images and objects, but also on architecture and films. As tools for this, the minor subject in Religious Studies teaches you the substantive, methodological and theoretical fundamentals of a religious science understanding of the diversity of religious cultures. The content is focused on religious plurality in various regions of the world, the material culture of religions, the importance of religion as a social factor, the transformation of religion and the connection between gender and religion.
