Shaping the Future through Sustainable Design Management The degree course in Sustainable Design Management (BA), which is unique in Germany, brings together the three areas of sustainability, design and management. Under the motto "Sustainable Management by Design", the practice-oriented study programme trains creative and competent managers of the transformation of companies and society towards sustainability. In interdisciplinary projects, students develop innovative business solutions for the ecological, economic, social and cultural challenges of our time. This is based on seminars and lectures on current sustainability debates and on various aspects of sustainable management. The degree course takes place at the ecosign Academy in Cologne, which has been consistently linking sustainability and design in its course offerings since 1994, and is conducted in cooperation with the Department of Economics & Media at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences.
