Annotation
During your degree course in B.Sc. Web Development you will learn to conceptualise, design and develop real, digital products and services. Interaction design, UX design, usability engineering, scripting languages, business informatics and social media are on the curriculum as well as hardware programming, communication strategy and agile project management. Based on this, you will develop digital experiences, online platforms, hardware projects, virtual spaces and games. The focus is exclusively on sustainable projects that have a lasting impact on the whole of society with large companies, NGOs, institutes, universities or start-ups for sustainable development. You'll learn how to coordinate real-world projects, work in teams with content experts, communications designers, and marketing experts, consult with clients, derive concepts from ideas, and ultimately design and technically implement them. Our students are already working on orders for customers from all over the world during their studies - ideal preparation for starting their professional career. Do you already have prior knowledge, for example, through education and training as a media designer, through study semesters in related subjects or by working as a freelance web developer or designer? Or you are already enrolled in the BSc Web development subject at the Berlin School of Design and Communication? Then you have the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge and credit points directly in dual practical modules at partner companies (approx. 2.5 days per week, 5 ECTS per semester).
