The digital transformation of the global healthcare industry is progressing at a fast pace, leading to a high demand for professionals with IT and healthcare expertise and specialised knowledge. The aim of our new Computer Science degree course is to educate this new generation of experts by combining a comprehensive Computer Science degree course with modules on the subjects of Healthcare and Artificial Intelligence. You will learn the central methods, principles and techniques of the most important programming paradigms and the associated markup and programming languages and how to implement and evaluate different application systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity measures and software solutions. The health focus introduces you to neural networks, imaging techniques and other applications of Artificial intelligence (AI) in health technology and management. You will deepen your knowledge in the field of IT systems and digitalisation measures in hospitals and learn about the importance of patents, liability, process management and foundation in healthcare. Modules on Risk and Quality Management, Epidemiology, Supply Chain Management and Public Health round off the curriculum and your Computer Science degree course.
