Professionally caring for people in illness-related crises and supporting them in their recovery – the BSc Applied Nursing Sciences (degree programme with vocational and academic elements) makes it possible and provides a dual qualification with practical relevance and varied career prospects. Upon completion of the course, there are attractive and future-proof job and career opportunities in complex nursing fields, e.g. counselling and training, pain management, domestic intensive care, care of people with dementia. The course design also offers practice partners the opportunity to pay particular attention to students with regard to their recruitment and development. Through the German Act on Nursing Professions - Nursing Professions Act (PflBG), there is now the attractive opportunity to acquire the academic degree of Bachelor of Science (BSc) plus the state professional license as a nursing specialist in just 8 semesters of full-time studies (standard period of study).
Admission requirements
Admission requirements: -a higher education entrance qualification valid for Hesse. -Study training contract with a cooperating practice facility. Please note that you have to submit additional documents (e.g. extended certificate of good conduct) in the course of the application procedure at the cooperating practice facilities.
