There are two steps that are necessary to start the course, which are carried out in succession: 1. Application for a placement at a cooperating "responsible practice facility" Application period: Application periods vary depending on the practice partner and start in some cases in the year before the course starts (from December). Application for admission to Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences Application period: Winter semester: May to 15 July (cut-off date) Different dates apply for applicants with foreign certificates of education, see application dates on uni-assist Only online applications are accepted. Admission requirements
- Academic midwifery training contract with a cooperating responsible practice facility, - Proof of health suitability, - Proof of reliability/worthiness, - Four-week pre-study work placement in an obstetrics field (for applications for the 2023/24 winter semester, the duration of the pre-study work placement will be reduced to two weeks.)
