Annotation
The English-language degree course BA Film & Motion is your entry into the film industry. You learn how films are designed and produced - from the first idea to screening. You'll learn all about proper camera and editing techniques, storytelling, directing, post-production and digital techniques, 2D and 3D visuals. In addition to film theory, dramaturgy, lighting and sound technology, the curriculum includes innovative narrative forms as well as interactive campaigns, short films, music videos and cinema spots. Motion design is one of the great areas of innovation in the film industry. Motion Design in combination with classical real film forms a unique degree course that leads to a career in the film industry in one of the areas of directing, cinematography, editing or post production.
Admission requirements
Portfolio with approx. 2 – 3 examples of work from the field of cinema (e.g. screenplay, scene sketches, storyboard or links to work on Vimeo or YouTube)
Tuition fee
EU/EEA students (incl. Switzerland, the Western Balkans and Ukraine); Non-EU/EEA students pay per semester (EUR 4725/semester)
