Annotation
In the cooperative Bachelor’s degree course in “Health (Therapy, cooperative)” the degree course is combined with training as an occupational therapist, speech therapist or physiotherapist in one of the two cooperating training institutions. Parallel to and building on your education and training as an occupational therapist, speech therapist or physiotherapist, you will receive a first academic degree with the cooperative Bachelor of Health (Therapy, cooperative). During your degree course, you will learn to critically and constructively reflect on your professional actions against the background of relevant concepts, models and theories and thus professionalise your professional actions. From the second year of training, you will complete your first modules at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences as a part-time student parallel to your training. The modules are offered in a blended learning format. After graduation, you will enter the fifth semester as a full-time student. From the seventh semester onwards, you choose one of the main areas of study.
Admission requirements
The prerequisite for admission to the course is a training place as an occupational therapist, speech therapist or physiotherapist in one of the two cooperating training centres as well as a letter of recommendation from the training centre.
