Annotation
The bachelor's degree in art therapy focuses on visual-artistic, art-therapeutic, medical, psychological and social topics and their relevance and significance for therapeutic work. Students learn to accompany individual processes artistically and to use artistic working methods and procedures therapeutically.
Admission requirements
The course at MSH Medical School Hamburg is not subject to admission restrictions. Performance, talent, motivation and discipline count more than the grade point average on the certificate. The admission requirements at a glance: - General higher education entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for higher education at a university of applied sciences according to Art. 37 HmbHG or - higher education entrance qualification for employed persons according to Art. 38 HmbHG via entrance examination (according to the entrance examination regulations) - Ideally a four-week preliminary internship in a social and health care institution recognised by the MSH - Determination of artistic aptitude in an individual admission procedure, which includes both an artistic-practical part and an interview part.
