You don’t want to have to choose between your career and your education? Would you like to become further qualified alongside your career? With our professionally integrated study model (BIS) you combine your work in a company or institution with an Engineering degree. The standard period of study for the professionally integrated Bachelor's degree is nine semesters. The compulsory modules of the course provide students with competencies in Medical Laboratory Diagnostics, in Quality and Data Management, as well as in regulatory issues. Compulsory elective modules also enable you to sharpen your profile. The distance learning reduces the attendance time at the TH Bingen to a minimum and the learning times are very flexible. This allows you to perfectly combine work and study. The modules can be distributed individually over the semesters. You can complete the practice modules in “your own” company. The ninth semester ends with the completion of the Bachelor thesis in your place of work. It is possible to switch between a study model that integrates practice and work at any time. The degree concludes with the academic degree of a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) and can be continued in the corresponding Master's degree programme if successful. With successful completion of the course modules, the certificates "Medical Laboratory Analytics", "Data Management" and "Quality Management" can be obtained.
