In the Bachelor's degree in Medical Controlling and Management (B.Sc.), students acquire extensive Business fundamentals and at the same time acquire the essential content of health economics and the basics of medicine in practical and well-founded training. Through the consistent combination of the disciplines of Business Administration, Medicine and Management, skills are acquired in order to be successful in the fields of operational and strategic medicine controlling, corporate development, the project management office, quality management or as an assistant to the management and to take on managerial and managerial responsibility in everyday life . The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic understanding of essential documentation, programming and billing processes, which are a central component of revenue assurance and therefore vital for the economic success of health care institutions. In addition, they acquire extensive skills in the areas of Economics and Business Administration and Health Economics.

You can study without a school leaving certificate giving general right of entry to higher education (Abitur) – Section 9 of the Brandenburg Higher Education Act (BbgHG) outlines the following qualifications that lead to entry qualification: the general higher education entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification the (also subject-related) university of applied sciences entrance qualification the professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree, the Master’s examination and comparable further training, the university of applied sciences degree or the completion of lower secondary education together with a suitable completed vocational training and then acquired at least two years of professional experience. At HMU, these qualifications are a prerequisite for admission to all courses offered by the Faculty of Health, both for courses with a university of applied sciences and for the Bachelor’s degree course in Psychology with a university academic degree.
