Cooking is art – you set the stage as a food manager! In the dual study programme in Food Management, we provide you with everything you need to make a career with cooking. In addition to basic gastronomic knowledge, you will also be provided with business know-how. For example, you will deal with management accounting, marketing and personnel planning as well as menu planning and budgeting. You will also gain insights into the hotel and catering industry. You will implement what you have learned directly in the company for the practical study phase. With the available choice of specialisations in gastronomy management and system gastronomy, you can specialise even during your degree course.
Admission requirements
General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification Without a school leaving certificate confirming general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, entry is possible if you meet one of the following conditions: - completed at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience in the profession you have trained in - successful passing of the Master Craftsperson’s examination - successful completion of a course as a state-certified Technician or state-certified Business Economist
