Annotation
Application via Fulda University of Applied Sciences The Bachelor's degree course "Vocational Education in Health" is a cooperative study programme of the Fulda University with the University of Kassel. Students of the new Bachelor's degree course are primarily enrolled at the Fulda University and are studying basic human biological principles or strategies for health promotion there. In Kassel, they take a second subject and the core course in education. A one-year work placement or relevant vocational training is required. Alternatively, students in this degree course can prepare for teaching qualification at technical schools in the health sector or in the state school service. The Bachelor's degree course is followed by a corresponding Master's degree programme in "Education for Health and Care Professions", which is also offered by the University of Kassel together with Fulda University. This Master's degree programme qualifies for a postgraduate traineeship for the Teaching Qualification for Health at vocational schools or grammar schools. There are so far no comparable teaching qualification degree courses in Hesse. Part-time study is quite possible due to the course of study in this degree course. Upon request, you can register for part-time studies in accordance with Section 19 (2) Hesse Higher Education Act (HessHG). The specific provisions for part-time studies will then apply. Counselling by the subject-specific student advice service is recommended.
