The Bachelor's degree programme in Mathematics Engineering is interdisciplinary and research-orientated. Students acquire in-depth knowledge of both engineering and mathematics. Two modelling modules are a special feature of the new course of study and provide particular training in interdisciplinary work skills. Skills for programming and handling mathematical-technical software are also taught, but are not the main focus of the study program. Possible branches of study: - Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Information Engineering - Mechanical Engineering – Process Engineering The specialisations are carried out in cooperation with the Faculties of ELectrical and information technology, Mechanical Engineering and Process and System Engineering. The choice of specialisation is made at the beginning of the second year of study, but due to the high proportion of general engineering subjects, it can be changed up to the beginning of the third year of study without much additional effort.
