Annotation
You love variety and are interested in economic and technical topics at the same time? You would like to learn things not only in theory, but try them out yourself? Then opt for the Industrial Engineering and Management degree. Here you are given an understanding of two worlds at the same time. Engineering knowledge is just as important as economic thinking in order to be able to analyse problems holistically from different perspectives. This "switching" is what makes the course so varied. This degree course is also possible in the form of a "degree course with an in-depth practical component". More information is available here: https://www.eah-jena.de/vertiefende-praxis Are you still undecided about your choice of degree programme? Our Engineering orientation year for technical degree courses is designed specifically to help technology enthusiasts decide on the right degree course. Find out more at: https://www.eah-jena.de/studium/vor-dem-studium/orientierungsjahr-ingenieurwissenschaften This interdisciplinary education enables you as an industrial engineer to increase the efficiency, reliability and flexibility of processes, to accelerate decision-making processes and to quickly understand complex issues. In companies, you are a link between departments and can develop new approaches and ways of thinking for the successful handling of problems through your overlapping specialised knowledge. During the practical semester, you can apply the skills you have learned, make contact with companies and try out which job you are interested in.
