The degree course "Media Education: Audiovisual Culture and Communication" focuses on the current socio-technological change of digitalisation and mediatisation and the associated central importance of media – in particular, the field of education in a digital world. The focus is on digitally networked media and audiovisual media cultures and their social and individual importance for education and socialisation. Based on current online phenomena, computer games, film, photography and other media, this meaning is analysed and reflected.
