Annotation
The Magister/Magistra in International Law (Magister/Magistra Juris Internationalis MJI) is a legal degree course with particular focus in the areas of International and European Legal Relations as well as in Comparative Law. In parts, it is identical with the degree course in Law with First State Examination. However, it does not lead to preparatory legal training or to the Second State Examination. Graduates are therefore not fully qualified lawyers and cannot practice as a judge, prosecutor or solicitor. If one of these occupations is desired, the degree course in Law with First State Examination, the preparatory legal training and the Second State Examination must be successfully completed. The degree course Magister/Magistra of International Law can be studied independently, in parallel to the degree course in Law with First Examination as a double degree, or in combination with the degree course in Law with First State Examination.
