Studying in Koblenz

Koblenz offers you 6 degree programmes in English at 3 higher education institutions.

Koblenz offers a unique experience of Rhine romanticism! Alongside the surrounding green landscape, two rivers flow into one another: Here at the “Deutsches Eck”, the Moselle meets the Rhine. This experience is rounded off with walks through the old town or cable car rides across the river to the city's fortress. From here you have a magnificent view over the expanses of the Rhineland.

With about 115,000 inhabitants and a good 16,000 students, Koblenz is a large city with small-town charm. The city with its picturesque backyards and idyllic winding streets in the northern Rhineland-Palatinate is home to three higher education institutions with modern facilities: Koblenz University of Applied Sciences, Koblenz University and the Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung.

Do you enjoy spending time by the water? Two beautiful rivers flow through Koblenz: the Rhine and the Moselle. When the weather is nice, you can take a boat trip with your friends or relax and enjoy the sunset on the Rhine terraces. The many green spaces in the city as well as the vineyards all around and the four forested low mountain ranges nearby offer you a varied landscape to discover during your studies. If you prefer to stay in the city, the many cafés and restaurants in Koblenz's old town invite you to linger. And if you want to end the day on a relaxed note after a strenuous course, you're sure to find a favourite place among the bars, clubs and beer gardens in Koblenz. But the best place to unwind after a stressful day is directly on the banks of the two rivers or in one of the parks.
